Fruits of the Spirit

The IFFP 4s class continues our play-based approach to teaching preschoolers. Each session focuses on one of the "Fruits of the Spirit" (from Paul's Letter to the Galatians in the New Testament; "The fruit of God's Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control") or one of the major Christian or Jewish holidays. Every class includes a story, an age-appropriate discussion, craft, music and movement. The children also learn a simple prayer that they'll continue to say next year in Kindergarten. The goal for this older group of preschoolers continues to be: making sure that each child knows his/her classmates and feels like a special part of both the IFFP Sunday School and the overall IFFP Community.
